CALS Biology Advising

Welcome to the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Biology Advising website! My name is Robin Ezzell, and I am the Academic Advisor for the CALS Biology major. If you have not already, I hope that you will check out the UF Biology Major website to find out more about your degree program and specialization area. This website can help you plan your semester schedule and provide you with valuable information about research and career opportunities that are available to you.

Meet Your Advisor
Once you have had a chance to look at the Biology website and the information for your specialization, if you have questions about your degree program, scheduling, dropping or adding courses, pre-professional issues, career development, or just want to talk with an advisor, please feel free to schedule an appointment with me or with your assigned academic advisor. If you are unsure who your assigned advisor is, please check the top of your ISIS degree audit to locate this information. Students may choose to schedule an appointment with either their assigned advisor or with me.

If you would like to make an appointment to see me, please schedule an advising appointment through our online scheduling system. You will need your Gatorlink username to create an account.

NOTE: I only advise CALS Biology majors designated AG-BLY. If you are a Biology major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences designated LS-BIO, you will need to make an appointment to see an advisor in your college.  Please refer to the Biology Major Advising Page for more information on how to meet with a College of Liberal Arts and Sciences advisor.

Changing Your Major
If you are a student in another college or major and want to change your major to Biology in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, you will need to make an appointment to meet with me by accessing the online scheduling system through the advising appointments tab on the left.

Pre-professional Information
To learn more about pre-professional programs, you can check out the information contained in the Undergraduate Catalog or look at UF’s pre-health website.
