Transfer Admissions

Students may seek admission to UF as transfers from other colleges and universities.

Lower-Division

Students applying to UF with more than 12, but less than 60, hours earned since graduating high school are considered lower-division transfer students. Students applying as lower-division transfers will be evaluated by the Office of Admissions. This path is viewed as highly competitive and admission is offered to a limited number of students.

Upper-Division

Students applying to UF with 60 hours or more transferable college credit are considered upper-division transfer students and will be evaluated by the college that houses the major the student is applying for.

CALS accepts students for the fall, spring and summer semesters. Students must apply by the established deadline.
