Rush Sigma Alpha!

Sigma Alpha is more than a professional agricultural sorority; it is the foundation of lasting friendships on an endless journey. The sisters of UF's Sigma Alpha Chapter invite you to learn what it means to be a "Sister in Agriculture". We pride ourselves in promoting agriculture through leadership, service and scholarship. We hope that we may be what you have sought for in a sorority.

What is Rush?

Sigma Alpha Rush is a week filled with activities for potential membership candidates who wish to become sisters in our sorority. The events planned for Rush Week are not mandatory, excluding the interviews and Initiation. However, the more events you attend provides a better idea for us (and you) to know if we are the sorority that best fits you. The intention of Rush Week is to enable the current chapter to evaluate the girls best suited for our sorority. We actively encourage any girl interested to to come see us during Rush Week. It is the time that we share our "first impressions and memories" with potential sisters.
