Teeing Up For a Good Cause: CALS Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament

Alumni Award Nominations Due April 1
The CALS Alumni and Friends organization needs your help in identifying deserving alumni and friends for the Alumni and Friends Award of Distinction and the Horizon Award. Both awards recognize contributions to the agriculture, natural resource and life science industries.
Applications are available online and must be submitted by April 1, 2005.

Alumni Trip To San Francisco and Northern California

The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the University of Florida Alumni Association are pleased to invite alumni and friends to participate in a Gator Getaway to San Francisco and Northern California.tower bridge

This unique trip will include visits to San Francisco’s most popular sites, and also many of California’s natural wonders like Big Sur and Yosemite National Park. The trip will also highlight California’s rich agricultural landscape,including visits to Napa Valley and the San Joaquin Valley, which is home to more than 300 agricultural commodities. Gator Encounter: CALS Prospective Student Event April 9th
Do you know students interested in attending UF's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, School of Forest Resources and Conservation or School of Natural Resource and Environment? If so, encourage them to participate in Gator Encounter, the college's open house for prospective students and their families. CALS Leadership Awarded Presented to Wingate
wingateElizabeth Paige Wingate, a senior from Milton, FL was presented with the CALS Alumni and Friends Leadership Award at the college’s convocation on December 1, 2004.Paige is majoring in Food and Resource Economics and is an outstanding student who strives to enhance her educational experience through extracurricular activities and service to others. more
